Andrea Ber

Therapeutic bodywork is an accepted part of physical rehabilitation programs and has proven beneficial for many acute and chronic conditions. Bodywork also soothes the sore and aching muscles of over-zealous "weekend warriors" and helps relieve the stress and tension of everyday living by calming the nervous system.

Bodywork can help:

  • release acute and chronic muscular tension and pain
  • improve circulation
  • increase joint flexibility
  • reduce mental and physical fatigue and stress
  • promote faster healing of injured muscular tissue
  • improve posture
  • enhance the immune system
  • reduce blood pressure
  • promote better sleep
  • improve concentration
  • reduce anxiety
  • create and overall sense of well-being and balance
Your Body Deserves its Own Solution
Each session varies depending on the desired outcome: pain relief, relaxation, stress reduction and/or mobility - and the status of your body that day. A wholistic and thoughtful approach to each client creates a healing environment. The key to a healthy body is achieving a state of balance. Superb assessment skills & the ability to balance and realign the body's soft tissues using a variety of disciplines including: myofascial release, trigger point therapy, biodynamic craniosacral therapy, and Ayurvedic treatments.

Treatments:

Relaxation Massage
Relaxes the muscles and eases aches and pains.
Therapeutic Massage
Focuses on your body's muscle, bones, tendons, ligaments and the connections among them, restoring balance, alignment, flexibilty and/or diffusion restriction and blockages, as required. Balances the soft tissue posture of the body.
Clinical Services
Address your clinical issue, be it acute or chronic pain, injury recovery, loss of mobility, trauma resolution or stress.
Abhyanga
Hot oil massage based on body constitution. Soothes the nervous system and rejuvenates the skin.
Shirodhara
Streaming of warm oil on the forehead relaxes the body, clears the mind and invites connection to our innermost feelings.
Marma

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

Gentle palpation of the energy rhythms that run through the body revitalize the cerebrospinal fluid. The biodynamic approach enhances the body's own self-healing and self-regulating capabilities. It is suitable for people of all ages including babies, children and the elderly.
Ayurvedic Treatments
Based on the ancient wholistic healing arts of the east, Ayurvedic Treatments are designed to create balance among the various systems in our bodies.
Karna Purna
Treating the ear with warm oil and massage is an effective way of calming the nervous system.
